If you are a local industry vendor, you may recognize this lovely lady. It is the one and only Jennifer Thye of
Imoni Events. Jenny is not only marvelous at what she does, but also a complete joy to be around. Brides & grooms, if you need a wedding planner in the Phoenix metro area, she is among the best!
She also happens to be pregnant with her first child (a girl) and is due
any day now. We met up a couple weeks ago at
The Royal Palms (thank you again Erin for allowing us to shoot there) to capture a few images of her. Not many of us --myself included-- can pull of that beautiful glow so late into our pregnancies when we just want to be
done already, but Jenny is one of those who still looked amazing in her 9th month.
Here are a few shots of her::

I just received Ginny and Dave's wedding album and wanted to share a few pictures since I'm so pleased with how it came out! We went with a new company that I have not used previously and they did a great job. I love the two-toned cover and metal cameo (with their photo on it)! Here are a few images:

I just returned from a wonderful vacation where I managed to *really* take some time off and relax. Most vacations it seems I still work half of the time since I always feel I need to respond to email inquiries or get other things done at least some of this time, but this time, I really decompressed, which was so restorative. It was also great to spend a lot of quality time with my family. I'll post some personal pictures up soon and share more, but for now, I'm getting fully back in the swing of things and wanted to post a few shots from Lindy & Jim's engagement session. We met up at DC Ranch last month for their shoot and had a great time laughing a lot and exploring all the nooks and crannies up there.

Here is Part II to Ashley and Kyle's wedding! When I said "tomorrow" I really meant Monday. Forgot about that little holiday that fell on the 4th... and I actually managed to take the day off! :-)
Without further ado, some more favs from the day:
Ashley and her Dad
When their Pastor started the vows that Craig was supposed to repeat, Craig was so excited to marry Ashley that he accidentally omitted the vows and just skipped ahead to the "I do!" It was pretty cute. :)
Yeah! Married!
Cuteness below captured by Phillip
More cuteness (boys on right captured by Gisele)
More amazing details (thanks
Gisele Holloway for helping to capture these)
Check out the detailing on their cake!
Even more beautiful details
Phillip and Gisele snapped some great shots of me in action that day! (The resulting pictures are down below in Part 1)
And last but not least, a little Photobooth fun of Phillip, Gisele and I at the end of the night... thanks again for helping shoot that day guys!
Ashley and Kyle, I hope you are having an AH-MA-ZING time in Europe right now! It was such a pleasure to be a part of your day and capture your beautiful wedding! Congratulations again :-)

Ashley and Kyle just tied the knot on June 20th at the
Intercontinental Montelucia Resort and Spa in what was pretty much a stunning wedding. First, they are adorable and so, so sweet, as well as easy to photograph together. And then they picked a beautiful location for their 340-person wedding. The Montelucia has an on-site chapel as well as several gardens for ceremonies, but due the weather I was thankful their ceremony took place inside the chapel.
Here are a few shots of some of the details around the Moroccan inspired feel.
The lovely ladies at Outstanding Occasions really did a beautiful job pulling the entire wedding together. It is not an easy task to manage all the moving parts of such a large wedding, but their entire team seemed to do it effortlessly. And the decor was just classic and beautiful.

Okay, now on to some of my favorite images of the day, at least for part 1 which will cover preparations and bride and groom time. Tomorrow I will be back with images from the ceremony, reception and some more details.
Ashley girls getting ready
A few shots that
Phillip Glickman, a great photographer who second shot with me that day, caught of Kyle and the guys getting ready
Now, I'm not one of those girls that has a ton of shoes, but I certainly appreciate a beautiful pair of
Christian Louboutin's when I see them, especially when coupled with Ashley's gorgeous
Romona Keveza wedding gown.
In fact, we might need to go ahead and treat them as art. Christian really knows how to make heels sexy.
Sooooo pretty!
A few moments from their first look
The girls looking beautiful
The guys looking pretty darn good too
A few more bride and groom shots from the day
And last but not least, some details of inside the chapel. I'll see you tomorrow with part II, featuring the ceremony and reception... stay tuned!
