Ashley & Kyle Wedding: Part I
Friday, July 03, 2009

Ashley and Kyle just tied the knot on June 20th at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort and Spa in what was pretty much a stunning wedding. First, they are adorable and so, so sweet, as well as easy to photograph together. And then they picked a beautiful location for their 340-person wedding. The Montelucia has an on-site chapel as well as several gardens for ceremonies, but due the weather I was thankful their ceremony took place inside the chapel.

Here are a few shots of some of the details around the Moroccan inspired feel.

The lovely ladies at Outstanding Occasions really did a beautiful job pulling the entire wedding together. It is not an easy task to manage all the moving parts of such a large wedding, but their entire team seemed to do it effortlessly. And the decor was just classic and beautiful.

Event Coordination: Outstanding Occasions
Florals: The Flower Studio
Makeup: Linda Wagner
Cake: Classic Confections (I'll show some more details of their amazing cake tomorrow)

Here are some of the details:

Okay, now on to some of my favorite images of the day, at least for part 1 which will cover preparations and bride and groom time. Tomorrow I will be back with images from the ceremony, reception and some more details.

Ashley girls getting ready

A few shots that Phillip Glickman, a great photographer who second shot with me that day, caught of Kyle and the guys getting ready

Now, I'm not one of those girls that has a ton of shoes, but I certainly appreciate a beautiful pair of Christian Louboutin's when I see them, especially when coupled with Ashley's gorgeous Romona Keveza wedding gown.

In fact, we might need to go ahead and treat them as art. Christian really knows how to make heels sexy.

Sooooo pretty!

A few moments from their first look

The girls looking beautiful

The guys looking pretty darn good too

A few more bride and groom shots from the day

And last but not least, some details of inside the chapel. I'll see you tomorrow with part II, featuring the ceremony and reception... stay tuned!
